Following the successful end of the 2022/23 league season and in preparation for the upcoming edition, the Sierra Leone Football Association has scheduled dates for this year’s National Division One League to take place between the 6th of August to the 10th of September, and the Sierra Leone Premier League Playoff to be staged between the 17th to the 30th September 2023.
The Division One League has been formatted to play regionally with each of the five Regions expected to turn in two qualifiers to compete in the 2023/24 Sierra Leone Premier League playoff in September.
The three best teams will automatically be upgraded to the 2023/24 league season replacing the current relegated teams in line with the newly introduced league system.
