Leone Stars Concludes Training ahead Friendly Encounter with Benin

Leone Stars have today successfully held their match situation training ahead of tomorrow’s friendly encounter against the Squirrels of Benin at the Stadium Khourigba, in Casablanca, Morocco.

The match is scheduled to kickoff at 4:30pm Moroccan time and 3:30pm Sierra Leone time.

Leone Stars are currently in Morocco on a week long camping during which the team shall engage in two friendlies against Benin on the 14th and Somalia on the 17th October respectively, in a bid to enhance early and proper preparation ahead of the commencement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November.

Zealous, seems the best way to describe the atmosphere as an unprecedented level of enthusiasm currently flows within the camp which has left the SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima and Deputy Minister of Sports Kai Laurence M’bayoh highly hopeful of nothing short of a victory in tomorrow’s match.
