SLFA PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE KPAKA FAMILY IN BONTHE

The Sierra Leone Football Association today visited the Kpaka Family in Bonthe Island to show sympathy and solidarity for the death of Mr. Alieu Oliver Kpaka, former Bonthe District Football Association Chairman. 

 
The SLFA delegation was led by the Vice President 1, *Brima Mazola Kamara.* Also part of the delegation were, *Sadick D. Nyakoh*- Executive Committee Member, *Elma Kamara*- Administrative Secretary and *Ibrahim Kamara*- Head of Media and Marketing. 
 
During his presentation of the SLFA financial support, Mr. Mazola expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and the entire membership of the Bonthe District Football Association. *”Mr. Kpaka was one of the oldest football administrators in the Southern Region and the role he played in the development of the game in Sierra Leone will remain unforgotten.”* 
 
His Worship the Mayor of the Bonthe Municipal *Layemin Joe Sandi* who received the gesture on behalf of the family thanked the Football Federation for taking the pains travelling to the Island, to sympathise with friends, loved ones and family of the late Oliver Kpaka. *”I am highly impressed to see SLFA showing example in what it means to work as a unified family.” The Mayor said. 
 
Alex Kpaka, the son of the late Mr. Alieu Kpaka, expressed great delight to see the SLFA delegation visiting his family especially in this time of bereavement. He added that *“it is very consoling  to see a delegation of senior members of the FA paying a visit to sympathise with my family”.*
