The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Madam Isha Johansen today had a lunch reception and shared an intimate interactive address with a record breaking 118 participants in the on going SLFA License ‘C’ Coaching Course at the federation’s Secretariat, Kingtom Freetown. 

Also present at the dinner session today were the Vice President 1 of SLFA Mr. Brima Mazola Kamara, SLFA Executive Committee Members Mr. Harold Nat-Johnson and Mr. Brima Jalloh the Chairman of the Northern Regional FA. The Chairman of the Sierra Leone Premier League Board, Mr. Allieu Vandy Koroma and a cross section of his board members we also present as special guests. 
In his opening statement, the SLFA  General Secretary MR. Christopher Kamara expressed delight over the level of commitment shown by the participants so far in the training course, making special reference to the past national players whom he referred to as *”the country’s football heroes and heroines.”
Mr. Kamara furthered by promising that ”the best scoring coaches at the end of the course will be utilised at various levels of the Sierra Leone National Teams.”
In her address, Madam Johansen referred to the participants of the coaching course as her dream and her vision for Sierra Leone Football. “This is growth, development, and empowerment.” Johansen stated. She praised and thanked them for their commitment and enthusiasm particularly the female entrants some of whom are ex-female national team players, ending on a personal note by saying “you have proven that you are now subscribers to the Dawn of a New Era of change in Sierra Leone football where rules, compliance, sanity and integrity in our football will prevail.”
Speaking on behalf of his colleague participants, Mohamed Bobson Kamara thanked the President of the FA for creating such a platform to uplift the standard of grassroots coaches in the country.
