SLFA BOSS APPLAUDS FEMALE U-20 DESPITE LOSS TO SENEGAL

The Sierra Leone Football Association President Madam Isha Johansen has applauded the the National Female U-20 team for a great performance despite loosing against their Senegalese counterpart in the FIFA U-20 World Cup Qualifier match today at the Bo City Stadium.

 
Addressing the players in their dressing room after the match, the SLFA Boss encouraged the girls not to be disappointed for loosing adding that *“game at this stage is not a win at all cost since we are building up for the next two or three years to come.”* *”Play good football like you did today and let the people appreciate.” The SLFA boss said. 
 
She ended by encouraging the the National female U-20 side to be *”more determined and committed”* as they prepare to travel to Senegal for the return leg fixture on the weekend of the 31st January, 1st and 2nd February. 
 
Sierra Leone conceded an easy fifty-fifth minute goal that came as result of a lack of proper communication between the central defender and the goalkeeper. The Senegalese could not however prevent the Sierra Leone U-20 side from dominating the full ninety minutes of the match at every department of the pitch. 
 
The Sierra Leone U-20 delegation is expecting to travel to Senegal on the 28th January, 2020 for the return leg to battle for an overturn of the 0:1 deficit.
