LEONE STARS KICK-STARTS TRAINING AHEAD OF NIGERIA HOME AND AWAY MATCHES

The Sierra Leone senior national team Leone Stars has today kick-started intensive training at the SLFA Academy ahead of the African Cup of Nations home-and-away qualifying matches against Nigeria in March this year. 

The training commenced today under Assistant Coach 1 John Kiester’s watch as the Head Coach Sellas Tetteh Teivi is yet to return from Ghana where he had gone on vacation. Assistant Coach 2 Amidu Karim and Goalkeeper Coach Tamba Moses were also around to provide the necessary technical support to the team with over ninety percent of the 43 invited home-based players present. 
 
The Leone Stars will embark on their back-to-back AFCON Qualifier fixtures with Super Eagles within the 23rd – 31st March 2020 starting with an away match in Nigeria.
