Sierra Leonean footballers continue to make their mark in international club football, with Emmanuel Sahr Samadia and Sulaiman KaiKai delivering standout performances for their respective teams.
Emmanuel Sahr Samadia was named in the USL Championship Team of the Week following a stellar performance for Hartford Athletic. Samadia was a key figure in Hartford’s 2-1 victory over FC Tulsa, creating four chances, including two big scoring opportunities. His defensive contributions were equally impressive, as he won 2 of 2 tackles, made three clearances, and completed seven recoveries. Samadia also demonstrated his precision in passing, completing 50 of 59 passes, helping to solidify his team’s win and earning him well-deserved recognition.
Meanwhile, Sulaiman KaiKai continued his fine form in English football, finding the back of the net as Cambridge United secured a solid 2-0 away victory over Stevenage in League One.
