KALLON, FIRST CATCH IN KEISTER’S NET AHEAD OF AFCON 2021

Issa Kallon, a prolific Dutch left winger born to Sierra Leonean parents, has through his agent expressed passionate interest to play for his native country (Sierra Leone) as the West African Nation prepares for the TotalEnergies AFCON Cameroon 2021 in January next year.

Kallon 25, who plays for the recently promoted SC Cambuur in the Dutch Premier Division (Eredivisie) has featured in the Netherland National Teams from U15 to U20 chronologically.

Leone Stars Head Coach John Keister, who has been keeping close tabs on Sierra Leonean players abroad, has said he is interested in offering young stars like Issa a chance to fulfil their dream of playing for their country, starting with Leone Stars proposed friendly matches in the next FIFA international window.
