LEONE STARS HOLDS FIRST TRAINING SESSION AT THE STADE DU SEPTEMBRE 28 IN CONAKRY

The Sierra Leone National Men’s Football Team (Leone Stars) has completed its first training this morning at the Stade Du Septembre 28 in Conakry, Guinea. The team will hold its final training session at the Stade De General Lansana Conte Nongo, Conakry between 5 to 6PM on Sunday evening, while the Squirrels of Benin also hold its final training at 4PM at the same venue.

This is in preparation of the final (rescheduled) Cameroon 2021 AFCON final qualifying match between Sierra Leone and Benin to return a second qualifier for Group L. Sierra Leone will play host to Benin away from home on Monday 14th June 2021 in Conakry, Guinea.

Head Coach of Leones Stars, John Keister is satisfied with his team’s preparedness for this encounter. “We have had a week to prepare, brought around a group of youthful players. We are comfortable to go into the match tomorrow.”
