Coach John Keister names 21-man Squad for Ghana Encounters

Sierra Leone's head coach, John Keister has announced a twenty-one (21) man sqaud for both the away and home matches in Kumasi and Freetown on the 11th and 15th October respectively. 
Included in the squad are two home based and two unattached and the rest are foreign based players.
"This is the squad we believe will make the difference and give us the required results. There is going to be few changes to the squad that played Ethiopia and that is because we are playing a different team," John Keister said.     

SLFA Mourns Young Referee; Victor Foday Marah

It is with great sadness and grief that the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has been informed that Victor Foday Marah has on Tuesday 25th September, passed away.
According to reports reaching the SLFA, the late Referee Marah collapsed while officiating a community league match at the Kingtom K-Tee Field and was rushed to the Connaught Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Victor Foday Marah was an intermediate football referee trained in Freetown by the Western Area Football Referees Association (WAFRA).

Coach Sellas Tetteh Announces 21-man Squad for Malawi, Gabon friendlies

Sierra Leone's national team coach, Sellas Tetteh has called up 21 players for the Malawi and Gabon friendly matches at home and away on Tuesday 22nd March and Friday 25th March respectively with a home tie set again against Gabon on Easter Monday.

The Ghanaian born tactician has named 12 foreign based and nine home based players for the three encounters.

Tetteh names 21-man Squad against Chad

Sierra Leone’s head coach, Sellas Tetteh has named a 21-man squad for both home and away encounters against Chad in the first preliminaries of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The Leone Stars will play away in N’djamena on October 10 while the return leg will be in Port Harcourt, three days later.

CAF placed a ban on Sierra Leone home matches in Freetown due to the Ebola epidemic, which has claimed thousands of lives in the tiny West African state.      

Home Based 27-Man Delegation Leaves for Mauritania

Sierra Leone’s 27-man delegation will leave Freetown on Wednesday morning for Nouakchott, Mauritania via Conakry to honour the 1st leg of the CHAN qualifiers and play also the return leg in Nouakchott a week later.

The team will travel by bus to Guinea, Conakry on Wednesday morning to board the evening Air Mauritanie flight to Nouakchott, arriving on the same day.

Leone Stars Coach Announces 20-man Squad

Sierra Leone’s head coach, John Ajina Sesay has announced his 20-man squad for both the Ivory Coast and Congo DR encounters scheduled for Friday November 14 and Wednesday November 19 in Abidjan and Kinshasa respectively.

Speaking shortly before his departure to Abidjan, the former Sierra Leone international said he is very much confident of his squad despite the fact that he has major injury to deal with.
