SLFA Celebrates the Life of Moseray Fadika

The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association would like to inform the general public that it has declared a month mourning for the Late Santigie Gibril Moseray Fadika, who passed away in the United Kingdom on the 8th of August 2016.

The late Moseray Fadika was a staunch supporter of the ‘Raise your Game’ dream of Madam Isha Johansen and her Executive Committee and also a football philanthropist, who helped football clubs, mini leagues as well as individual footballers, grow in the game.

“The world is a stage and all the men and women merely players. They have their entrances and their exits and one man in his time plays many parts. Moseray, you deserve a Standing Ovation. Rest in perfect peace, my dear brother,” Madam Isha Johansen says.

In celebrating his life, the SLFA has declared that with immediate effect:

* The SLFA flags, which includes the Sierra Leone flag will fly at half-mast till September 8

* All players should wear black arm bands during FA Cup matches scheduled for the weekend of 13 and 14 August, 2016

* A minute silence would be observed in all local matches nationwide this weekend

The SLFA is however requesting all Mini Leagues, Regional and District Associations, Football Clubs and Football loving fans to stop all matches on the day of his burial which will be announced by family members.
