The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has donated 90 match balls to the Executive committee of the Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) for the commencement of their various leagues across the region.
Presenting the match balls in Bo at the SRFA offices, the Acting SLFA President, Mr Brima Mazola Kamara appealed to all football stakeholders to bury the hatchet and move forward for the good of the game in the country.
“As the New Direction leadership is pushing forward for us to kick start our premier league, I implore you the regions to put your acts together and start the ball rolling at each and every district,” he appealed.
Receiving the match balls on behalf of SRFA, the Chairman Mr Samuel Kamara expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the SLFA and assured him that the donation would be used for its intended purposes.
