As part of a new Television Commission, FIFA TV will undertake worldwide filming at qualification matches to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The first tranche of filming will take place during the preliminary round in the CAF region between the 4th and 10th September, 2019.

The purpose of this new media development is to promote the FIFA World Cup throughout the next cycle and in particular showcase the hard work invested by member associations in their quest to reach the finals in Qatar.

FIFA has identified the International Management Group (IMG) as its production provider, and the TV crew is expected to arrive in Sierra Leone shortly to film the build-up and preparations.

The SLFA would like to take this opportunity to thank Zenith Bank SL as the first Corporate Sponsors proudly supporting the preparations towards the Leone Stars encounter with the sum of Twenty Seven Millions Leones (Le 27,000,000) donated to Western Area Football Association (WAFA) who are providing package tours for Leone Stars supporters to Monrovia.
