Executive Committee Appoints Premier League Board (PLB)

The Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) would like to inform the football family and the general public that, legal luminary, MR EMMANUEL SAFFA ABDULAI has been appointed to serve as CHAIRMAN of the Sierra Leone PREMIER LEAGUE BOARD (PLB) for the 2018/19 football season. 
 
Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai is a barrister and solicitor in the High Court of Sierra Leone. He has served as Chairman of Premier League Club, Old Edwardian Football Club for the last seven (7) years. 
 
Barrister Abdulai is the CEO of Luawa Football Club, playing in the first division of the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) League. He was a member of the Premier League Board in the 2012/2013 league season. 
 
He has served as a member of the Sierra Leone Football Association Constitutional Review Committee and played active football as a striker at Old Edwardian Football Club.
 
The Executive Committee further announces other members of the board as follows:
1. SAMA SESAY - MEMBER (Chairman COFA)
2. JAMES FOFANAH - MEMBER (Leone Stars Coordinator)  
3, ALHAJIE MOHAMED SAMOURA - MEMBER (Head of Cooperate Banking ECOBANK)
4. REPRESENTATIVE RSLAF FC
5. REPRESENTATIVE FC KALLON
6. REPRESENTATIVE FREETOWN CITY FC
 
Details of their Terms of Reference (TOR) will be communicated to the respective individuals by the PLB Secretary prior to an unveiling ceremony, which will be convened by the SLFA as soon as possible.
