Undoubtedly, the youngest member in the SLFA current Executive, AlieBadara Tarawalie is one of the oldest serving members in the administration of the Northern Region Football Association.
Born in Port Loko district, the former key striker of the Bai Bureh Warriors played active role to keep his district club on the country’s top tier league from 1995 to 2001. His goals and performance both on and off the pitch gave his people the confidence to give him a bigger responsibility after hanging his boot to go into the administration of the game.
Tarawalie served as Secretary General of the Bai Bureh Warriors, Secretary General of the Port Loko District Football Association before going regional and served as the Secretary General also for the Northern Region Football Association.
The young and dynamic administrator, who holds a Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) and a post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Small Business Management hopes to raise the status of the game at all levels and aimed to reach the apex of his objectives when the time is ripe.
